Replacing Windows, Doors, and Trim

Bickford Exteriors offers window and door replacement services throughout the Massachusetts South Shore area. The installation of new windows and doors provides multiple benefits, including enhanced curb appeal, improved energy efficiency, and outside noise reduction.

INSTALL NEW WINDOWS FOR ENERGY EFFICIENCY AND NOISE REDUCTION

The most common reason for the installation of new windows is typically energy efficiency. If you have old drafty windows or single pane glass that frosts up in the winter, Bickford Exteriors can help. We offer the best brands on the market, such as Marvin and Andersen, and will work with you to find which of their lines best suits your needs. The manufacturers that we do business with are time-tested and stand behind their products. Replacing old windows will not only reduce drafts and save on energy bills, but can also lessen outside noise infiltration, while enhancing the beauty of your home and raising its market value.

REPLACE OLD DOORS FOR BETTER WEATHER PROTECTION

Many times clients choose to replace old doors in order to further tighten their home against the extreme New England weather. There are a wide variety of door styles, patterns, and materials to choose from on the market. Personal preference plays a large role when choosing new doors, especially that of your main entrance. We will offer our professional opinion and guidance in helping you to choose a door that is best for you.

REPLACEMENT TRIM AND SIDING PATCHES ARE INCLUDED

All of our window and door projects include required interior and exterior trim installation, as well as any siding that may need to be patched in as a result.

EXTERIOR TRIM REPLACEMENT SERVICES

In addition to windows and doors, Bickford Exteriors offers full or partial exterior trim replacement. We can replace rake boards, soffit trim, corner boards, window casings, door casings, and mouldings. All can be replaced with traditional wood products or with cellular PVC trim boards. In some cases the use of wood is required due to local historical guidelines, but PVC has become the widely preferred choice of home owners. We use only top-rated brands such as Azek, Kleer, and Versatex to ensure the quality of all of our trim projects. Cellular PVC will not rot and is unattractive to insects so that you can rest assured that your trim will never have to be replaced again. PVC can be painted to your liking, but only with lighter colors. Wood products are more suitable for darker trim colors. Whether your need is rot remediation, maintenance reduction, or beauty enhancement, Bickford Exteriors has the solution.
